Is there anything more important than your family's health?

Before we get to the healthy benefits of cleaning your carpets, please know that we are NOT nor ever will be, the kind of company that resorts to scare tactics to attract more business. We believe in educating the public and providing useful information on the entire carpet cleaning process.

There is a common school of thought that believes "the only reason to clean carpets is to remove dirt, stains, etc." While that of course is part of the equation and removing the dirt visible to the naked eye is important, there is another and perhaps much more important factor and that is removing the stuff you can't see.

As you know, the outside air contains pollens, fungus, bacteria, pollution, cigarette smoke, car exhaust — and literally hundreds of other microscopic yet very unhealthy chemicals and substances, all of which you cannot see.

Every single day, you and your family members unknowingly transport these pollens, bacteria and chemicals in your hair and on your skin, clothing and shoes into your home from the outside. Not surprisingly, all these chemicals, pollens and bacteria wind up — you guessed it — in your carpets.

Oh sure you can smell them. And you may be under the impression that once the smell is removed, the harmful effects are removed along with it.

On the contrary.

The smell may eventually dissipate, but make no mistake about it these harmful things remain behind living and breathing in your carpets. Removing them as often as possible is very important as the longer they are left to fester in your carpets, the more harmful they will become to you and your family's health.

To complicate matters, if you have allergies, asthma, emphysema, or other breathing problems — one major source of your problem could be the pollens, fungus, and chemicals in your carpets. Then there's tobacco. Even if you don't smoke, chances are you will be around someone who does at some point and those chemicals will make their way onto your shoes and you will transport them in to your home and leave them in your carpets.

Here's a staggering statistic:
Tobacco smoke contains over 4,000 different chemical compounds, 43 of which have been proven to cause cancer.

We asked the question: Is there anything more important than your family's health?

The answer of course is a resounding NO. This was not meant to scare anyone. It was meant to inform. It was meant to educate. It was meant to help. We own homes and have children just like you do.

If there is ANYTHING we can do to make their lives and ours just a little bit healthier, it's worth it...Don’t you think?
